Potlucks

So today at work there was this potluck. Naturally, I went later on to scavenge for treats.
I was in the breakroom doing just that, when a coworker saw me eyeballing the fruit salad.

"You have to try that," she told me, "it's really good!"

"Oh, did you make it?" I said.

"Yes, and there is no mayonnaise or anything."




I haven't made too many fruit salads in my lifetime, so I have to ask:

Is mayonnaise a traditional ingredient in fruit salad??
